Shingles
This is the most common and lowest inital cost roofing solution in America. Shingles come in a broad variety of colors, different shapes, textures, styles and profiles. Most of this roofing material is readily available and are easy to come by.
Metal
Pinnacle's first choice is metal because it is the most economical choice when compared to the limited life expectancy, and re-installation and repair costs of traditional roofing materials. Metal roofing is one of the most cost-effective roofing materials on the market today. It is available in a broad array of styles and colors. Metal reflects up to 70% of the sun's energy, and may experience 34% less heat gain than composite shingle roofs. It is also light weight and can typically replace a traditional shingle roof with no additional engineering and structural enhancements required.
Tile
There are two types of tile, concerte and clay, concerte is the most popular. A tile roof is considered a "lifetime" roof usually lasting the life of the structure. Since it is a heavier roofing solution every home must be engineered specifically to hold tile. It is typlically used on luxury homes and adds value to the home.
Slate
This is the most expensive roofing solution and is often compared with tile. It also takes longer to order and install.
Flat
Modified roof systems consist of one, two, or three ply systems. The type of substrate will often determine the type of system being installed. It is usually hot mopped or torch applied but some are self adhering with no heat required. This system is usually used in commercial but can be great for patio roofs or water proofing walk on decks.
